He does have a problem with Italians and Italian-Americans, that's for sure. Who pulled Moe's string anyways? Is he competing with that other nitwit to win Scem' of the Year.

Pizza has been on here a couple of times and has seen this thread. With the exception of a few posts, he said he received a lot of compliments which he appreciated.
I thought he'd be on here to clear things up on why he doesn't post, but it doesn't look like he'll be back any time soon.

Even if Pizza doesn't see the humor in my previous posts, he's intelligent enough to know they are satirical and not malicious.

I certainly do not have a problem with Italians or Italian-Americans.

When I think of Italian-Americans I do not think of the mafia because stereotyping and pigeonholing people is a pet peeve of mine, particularly when it comes to my own tribe.

Unfortunately, a minority of people seem to derive a lot of their cultural identity from the mafia and get their backs up if you don't excuse their criminality - which is unfortunate!

all Italians are not mafia, its a sad thing when people think they are. the mafia is a blight on educated, intelligent Italians,of which there are millions. the mafia preyed on the good Italian people for generations, and most Italians hold them in contempt knowing what they really are.

i concur. having a few family members who were knee deep as well as family members who came to this country and worked hard for a better life, youre spot on.

I have a close friend from Italian Harlem that I see from time to time. Usually at the Giglio feast in East Harlem. Sometimes at a doowop concert but not lately.

He is a little bit older then I am. He never did anything wrong as far as I know. He is a college graduate. Why he even wanted to be friends with a guy like me I don't really understand. Then again even my brother is a college graduate went to polytechnic it was a big engineering college years ago.

The funny thing about my brother is he still has to work at age 80 to make ends meet. He has borrowed about 15 thousand off me that he will never be able to pay back he gives me 100 every two months

Awwww that's nice. I agree. I miss that wonderful man so much. He is taking a much needed break from the boards and won't be back anytime soon. If one of us receives an email from him, we'll be sure to relay your nice message.

What exactly do you mean here, when you talk about Pizzaboy?

Well, first and foremost, my Dad passed away a little over a year ago. To say that it devastated and changed me would be a colossal understatement. You see, even though he was well into his eighties, and I was well into my fifties, at the time of his passing, he enjoyed the Internet and he didn't like my being on a site like this to say the very least. My Dad was a working man at heart. Sure, he was a knockaround guy. So am I. But no matter who our relatives may have been (and there was at least one heavyweight if that crap impresses you), or how well we did for ourselves financially (and we did pretty fucking well), he felt that it was no one's God damned business. And the man was right. Not that I ever really got into specifics, but I did come close to crossing the line more than once. And now I feel the need to respect him and to not do it again. The other reason is the fact that this place did become very hateful for a time. And I hope that's changed because when it's right, this is the BEST site of its kind. But I think I'll drop in from time to time just to say hi from here on out. I met too many great people here to drop out of sight without mentioning why.

@Giacomo_Vacari: I have no idea what you're talking about. But if you're suggesting that I created a second account here when I stopped posting a year and some months ago, you couldn't be more wrong. I'll keep it classy and just say that I wouldn't piss on my Dad's memory like that.
