Mannix, is the reason that people say that the Juws run Hollywood. His mob affiliation was to the Kosher mafia first and the Genovese crime family second. That is not to say he did not have connections to other crime families. He was from New Jersey and was involved in Liquor, gambling, and prostitution before he moved to Hollywood. He may have been a hitter, but he had some heavy hitters around him.
