I think Bayonne Joe is Joe Zirilli old Detroit boss Bayonne Joe is the mob guy from NJ. Bayonne is a town in Hudson County NJ, right across the river from NYC.

Is this the same guy known as Bayonne Joe? Bonanno family in NJ.(??) Think I read once that he had some sort of abortion racket going on.
Not sure of what I write, tbh.
Yeah, that's the guy. Took over Galente's crew after Carmine went to prison and was courted by all factions during the Bonnano war. Didn't seem to have the necessary toughness to be a boss, but had a lot of political clout apparently.

I just assumed he was a Brooklyn guy since he was always seen in Bushwick on Knickerbocker ave or maybe im just confused bc thats where Joe & Marys was that he was whacked

Most of the crew was Brooklyn based and that part was taken over by Joe Notaro when Galente was promoted to UB. That crew was later taken over by Sonny Black. Bayonne Joe took over the NJ based guys.

Latter lived in East Harlem.
