it is impossible to know furio because these guys dont record how much they are making. It also depends on the situation and whats available some capos are better earners therefore they will kick up more i dont think there is a set amount you are supposed to kick up. Also depends what rackets are available some new scams may open up which will mean more income for whoever the boss. In some cases the boss might be running his own scams like merlino for example this cream scam he was running that himself that was not his capos kicking up another example a few years ago geogre A said ligambi and staino made a killing in some real estate deal that was nothing to do with what the philly mob made that was there own independat scams. Also if someone brings in a big "score" the amount a boss makes will obviously increase


If i had to guess i would say someone like merlino is making between 1.5mil - 2.5mil if he is lucky the reason he is able to fund his lifestyle is because others are paying for him he was doing the same in the 90s even the 5mil bail i doubt he would have been able to post that himself he needed others to help him out joey has alot of rich friends he is able to get away with it.

I think $2 million a year is a low guess for Merlino, even if you are only counting his local rackets. I think the top guys in Philly are all approx. $2 million a year. Everyone else is probably making a fraction of that.

All we can do is guesstimate though.

Merlino may be able to pull in $1 million and maybe a little more, but the rest of the top 3 guys are extremely lucky if they're able to pull in 300 grand each. This isn't nearly as profitable as you guys think. The one guy who may be able to come close to a million a year is Joe Pung.

I think merlino was a "restaurant owner". And its true there 2 books but I think that if merlino earn 1 milion he can say that he live with what earn with the restaurants.

A lot of them own cash businesses, they declare the income that seems right for the lifestyle they're living.

Real estate is always the safest bet IMHO. It's already been documented that the Philly family (like every family) is highly involved in it.

I feel ya H, I have stuck up for Furio many of times myself and I still have nothing against him, but he does make multiple profiles on multiple boards while keep asking the same questions over and over. He even keeps conversations going with himself in certain threads. He's the Jeff Dunham of mob boards..
