OK. What can make the bowel movement of a human being (and, incidentally, a co-worker) smell like dog shit, as opposed to the limitless and quite distinct variations of human fecal scent?

This is not a joke, nor much of a question, actually.

I am just sick and fucking tired of walking into my dearly beloved work bathroom every day and catching a mouthful of this. Just like fucking dog shit. Why doesn't this asshole just come up to my office and shit on my chair or the seat of my car or walk around with a handful of it? Why be stealthy about it?

So, it comes down to: WHAT is he/she eating and WHAT can I do to either change his/her diet and/or kill this person?

So your co-worker doesn't flush? Damn.

I think the question leads us to a very important issue, Restroom etiquette.

The worse is when people don't even wash their hands. Cmon, people, that's not right.

I was at a restuarant a few days ago, and I went to the restroom. So I'm doing my business, right? A worker of the restuarant comes out of the stall and just walks right out! Well, of course, I won't be making another trip there again.

Flushing doesn't do anything. The smell stays in the air. Poke, if you wanna stop him/her, next time they go to take a shit, slip a piece of paper under the stall.

Reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld. Jerry was at his girlfriend's favorite restaraunt and the cook comes out of the stall and doesn't wash his hands. How lovely!

Do you have an idea who this person is?? Follow each worker to see where they eat at.. If they go home.. I suppose, that would puzzle. But usually this should work..

MAYBE you should bring a can of air freshener and when this smelly character walks out -spray away like a maniac, he might get a clue, if he doesn't atleast you wont have to smell the bastards mess.

What I found funny about the restrooms at my old workplace was some guy (someone I hate and was incredibly boring) was slagging a manager off whilst washing his hands to another collegue. Turns out the manager was in a cubicle, came out and disciplined him for it. Fantastic.

Oh and someone was sacked for stealing a Pot Noodle too the other week. A Pot Noodle, what idiot would risk his good decent paying job for a quick snack?

Bathrooms smell, get over it. Even the queens shits stink.

well, if it is that bad i think i would find a new place to take care of businss. i would for sure either say something or leave a note , im sure it wouldnt be very nice one at that. well good luck with the shits......

I assume since you don't know the gender that this is a unisex bathroom. If this is the case, no one's masculinity would be threatened if you strategically placed a large bowl of popouri, a sack of matches (for the sulphur kill), a few votive candles and a big can of Lysol Disinfectant in there. The whole ambiance of the bathroom would change too. A feminine touch might make it uncomfortable enough for a man to poo.

I always thought human waste smelled a lot worse than dog poo. Dog diets are simple: dog food. Whereas god knows what weird zebra crap people eat any given day.

Interesting observation Uzi. The smell of dog shit. I don't go sniffing much dog shit myself, but basically we all have a distinct (dis-stink?) odor - body, breath, shit, etc. Poor chap probably can't help the way his body processes the food he eats. I find bathroom habits more offensive than the odor that God gave us. One office I worked in had the phantom clogger. Not only did this guy take huge dumps, but he used a half a roll of paper. That toilet was rendered useless for the day. I pitied the cleaning crew. We left notes on the inside of the stalls, but no good. I went to another floor to do my business. BTW, I'm told my shit smells like yak-shit. A Sherpa told me.
