In 2008 when they arrived in Florida, an ad featuring the club’s winged-skull logo has appeared in a local newspaper calling for new members. There are 21 military bases in Florida. Are you fucking kidding me? No disrespect intended, but I would have to see that to believe it.

Believe it or not, there's a Hells Angels chapter out here in Long Island where I'm from, ironically their clubhouse is in Hempstead, which is 'Hood central. I used to walk past there going to a friends house or something and the place always looked defunct, but they definitely were around because I'd see them riding up and down Hempstead Turnpike all the time. Now the place has a complete makeover, there's a huge flaming skull atop this flagpost thing, behind the big black gate they have to give them privacy I guess. There's new decals and shit on the actual clubhouse thats there, so it's obvious their getting money from somewhere, where I just don't know. And the majority of them are white guys, which means they probably aren't from the immediate surrounding area, but ride out there daily. There was also an HA bar I used to go to thats in Queens, it has an irish name, and you wouldn't think it was an HA bar until you went inside and saw the bar decorations and old guys with ponytails and beards hanging around. They definitely branch out as they opened their bar up for the public and held certain college based events on almost every weekend. But they'd be there as the security team for the night. I met some cool guys at that place. I miss those times.

39° CRIME Hempstead Village biker brawl averted, Nassau police say COMMENTS Updated June 28, 2016 8:36 AM By Ellen Yan ellen.yan@newsday.com
As many as 100 bikers surrounded the Hells Angels clubhouse in Hempstead Village on Sunday, ready for a clash, but left after police showed up in force, authorities said Monday about an incident that remains under investigation.
A group called the Unknown Bikers motorcycle club came “in force to retrieve vests” — clothing with colors or emblems that represent the group — after they were taken by Hells Angels on Friday night, according to an initial gang intelligence report by the Nassau County police special investigations squad, which was at the scene and is investigating.
The Unknown Bikers club is based in Brooklyn and has as its emblem a skull inside a red, horned helmet.

Photos of the scene showed Nassau SWAT officers wearing bullet-resistant vests and carrying rifles as they walked on the roadway toward the motorcycle club.
The officers put themselves between the two motorcycle clubs, and the 80 to 100 Unknown Bikers eventually left, according to the report.

Not sure they will take over the South much less Florida. Florida used to be all Outlaws or Mongols. I know here in Alabama it's all Bandidos. Opening chapters is complicated for them, its Outlaw territory. But that doesn't mean they are not there or don't have business interests there, already in the early 90s they have been talking to local real estate owners regarding the purchasing of property and establishments.

I want to ask about these clubs with 2 chapters in a large city, How does that function? Does it make it easier for recruitment? Does both Presidents have equal authority or is one more a representative for the city? Have to remember most chapters are only like 6-12 guys. In huge cities it just makes sense to have more than one chapter if the club is strong enough. Areas are generally under a regional president or nomads. Regional president or whatever it may be called by the specific club, likely also the president of a chapter in a big city. In HA lore the late 60's war between Oakland and frisco is legendary. Bargers charter was Oakland and the neighboring charter had a war with them just to give an idea how unruly it can be. There is no one size fits all. It's whatever works at that given time. Exceptions to every rule.
