DiFronzo goes way back with Andriacchi. I don't think they were as close in their layer years. Andriacchi was close to Lombardo.

Lombardo and Andriacchi are cousins. Like Snakes said, DiFronzo didn't seem close to Andriacchi in later years. But he was seen meeting with D'Amico on the Chuck Goudie video.

Its interesting, although I don't know if it's entirely true. But for some reason Andriacchi replaced D'Amico as an "advisor" for a while? Something was favorable about Andriacchi over D'Amico?

It's also possible if DiFronzo and Andriacchi decided to retreat, that they stopped being around each other in order to protect each other I suppose.

I also was curious if and why Andriacchi and D'Amico didn't like each other. If, that's even true.

Who really knows? EP was always the most secretive and tight knit of the crews. Plus most of the major players in the crew from 20 years ago are still alive today. Also, D'Amico is the only guy in the crew to have done major time and even he pled guilty, so it's not like we were able to find anything out through testimony at a trial, either.

Do you know who are the Elmwood guys who are still likely to be active today?

Went to school with one of his kids. His story about making that video was priceless.

I believe the few active EP guys report to Cicero. Gary Gagliano would be one. Rudy Fratto is probably not active, and I don't believe Marco is made. Pete DiFronzo is probably under Solly D somehow, but in what role, I don't know. My guess is that Solly D has insulated himself pretty well to keep his hands clean. I believe there's only three active crews: Cicero (Jimmy I), Grand Ave (Albie Vena), and Chinatown (Frank Caruso).

Not guaranteeing that Pete D. is still active today, but if he is, he's under Solly D. You know that when it comes to the Outfit we're always several years behind.

Given the testimony at the Mickey Davis trial last year where Ralph Serpico was getting extorted, i'd say Pete Difronzo is still active. Serpico testified that he often saw Pete driving by his car dealership during the time Mickey Davis was attempting to collect the money owed to him.

Yeah the report claims there were a total of 9 people there, I wonder if amongst the 5 men not named, Joey A was there. Had he already retired by then? That early?

From what I understand, is that there was some sort of beef between Andriacchi and DiFronzo in their later years. Rumor has it that things got so cold between the two men that Andriacchi never even bothered to tell DiFronzo that his wife died years earlier. Toodoped would likely be the man to chime in on this though.

Lombardo & difronzo are close. They both grew up in the patch and attended wells high school. Marco & joey a are not close however. Ive never heard that joey a & difronzo had a falling out, but some guys had a problem with difronzo pulling back on the street rackets. They saw it as him cuffing them a bit on earning.

I stand corrected. I believe it WAS Andriacchi and D'Amico who had the falling out. Some say that D'Amico still tends to steer clear of Andriacchi. Not sure what the beef was about though.....Unless it had something to do with Andriacchi briefly pushing Marco aside to smooth the Solly D transition.
