I think someone mentioned here a while back that one of the reasons Joey wouldn't plead out (in addition to the case being pretty weak) is that a guilty plea would result in a RICO predicate already on his record for future prosecutions.

I've mentioned before on here that I worked a few times in Merlinos, and that Joey used to come in to other places where I worked.

How many here know that the old Merlinos is now a place called "Frankie and Dinos" and that its owned by Carlo Vacarezza (Gottis former driver and good friend).

Dave schratwieser is reporting Joey merlino's trial will be delayed a week because Merlino has a bad heart, apparently he has 2 blockages in his heart
