If done well this could be really good. But i think a series would have been better as what kind of back story can they tell in a 2 hour film, not much..

That's great news. smile Do I understand it's going to be released on the big screen? I think it's good they go with a prequel because to continue where it left off, and especially without James Gandolfini would be hard to do if you ask me.

So happy to hear this, I would not mind if they continued from where they left off as long as they had great moving scenes of tribute to JG

Back story theme cool as well.

The Sopranos without JG would not be good,so has to be a prequel.
