That, and I don't think legal sports books offer credit, so that's another advantage the regular bookmakers have. And I think you will have to go to the racetrack or casino to place the legal bets, not over the phone. the more i think about it. degenerates dont want to pay taxes. you hit over 600 hundred keno, scratch tickets ect. in most states on lottery they take a piece. what it you hit a parlay for a few grand you want the state tacking 20 percent. and what if bookies have way better odds and the state trys to have there own lines? could be a shit show. but the feds will crack down heavy on bookies in nj for tax evasion and shit thats what there doing to big weed dealers in mass now since a jury will have sympathy to a weed dealer lets hit them with money luandering, tax evasion, mail fraud ect. these are all federal laws to fuck you and take your house and cars.

I don't understand why you Americans don't just legalise sports betting across the entire country.
It's massive industry over here in Ireland and the UK. We have multiple betting chains operating in every town, city village. Gambling is almost part of the culture as horse and greyhound racing are hugely popular.
It's all regulated and taxed. Big earner for the State each year. Well it just was legalized federally. Now each state has the choice of legalizing it.

Bookies in Jersey are concerned that now the state is going to put heat on them to eliminate some competition, that's what I've heard multiple times from multiple guys here in Jersey. Automatic Dante they will just have to think and get people where they already should have people like we did .
