He's 84 years old, he has spent the last 26 years in prison. WTF does the Vic get up to in prison? Anyone got any stories/rumours, even trivial prison stories about Vic would be appreciated.

Nobody hears anything about this guy, yet he's still the Lucchese boss but low level Lucchese associates get mentioned more than him.

Amuso was beaten up by Greg Scarpa jr in 1995 while both was in Terre Haute prison because Little Vic said that scarpa sr was a rat.

few yrs back his wife died and either vic orderd it or just as a show of respect every family member showed up. some where theres a few photos of vic with abunch of other lcn guys from other families in jail pics. seems like hes well liked also looked in good shape.

he took over christy tic crew in 1980 when tic was bumped to consig. i think henry hill fliped that yr and the huge vario crew was getting indicted so vic crew or christy tics crew was very large in brooklyn and staten island.

Some of those Brooklyn guys are active but have been very quiet with the Bronx heading to trial soon but that going on with Crea and company is going to change the Luke’s I would think .

There is some bad blood there but these guys need to make money and gain power not retaliate because of old grudges .

they called it the 19th hole crew i belive its was all the crazy brooklyn guys that vic and casso inducted into the family. george conte, zapolla, fat pete, frank lastino. all those guys i belive came from vic and gas who both came from christy tics crew. all killers. then evry one from vic and gaspipe crew became capo almost 2 3 yrs after they got inducted. like serp says the bronx nrooklyn rivalry stuff. im sure after cooling the heals in prison for 15 20 yrs they made amends.

So who was made in the 19th hole crew of amuso before 86. Casso was always christys boy so i dont think he really counts.

Luchesse brooklyn branch was extremely large at one point. It consisted of three crews: Vario (canarsie), 19th hole (bensonhurst) and the McDonald Avenue crew (Gravesend).

Add to that the Long Island crew (Avellino bros., Caridi). Just using what ive seen on black hand, read in the Darco book, and elswhere.

I would like to hear more about Vic Amuse too.
Besides from all the hits that him and Casso ordered, and his connection to Christy Tic, we don't know much more about him.

They grew up together and were always best friends. My uncle was older, they were both feared.

So we dont know anyone apart from maybe angelo defendis which is debatable who was a soldier for amuso when he was a capo. Anyone know when bobby amuso was made.

We may hear more about what Amuso has been up to in the upcoming Lucchese family trial. If I remember correctly, one of the rats set to testify is Robert Spinelli who was used to deliver messages from Amuso to guys on the street.

I think they need to change the Cosa Nostra rules a bit. Because there is something wrong when an elite criminal organization of 130 members and 600 associates is at the mercy of a 84 year old man who hasn't been on the streets in 26 years and is never getting out of prison.

first of all, Vic regardless of what these fake documentaries say, was always being groomed for the top spot. He was respected as a Gallo gang guy to a powerful capo in Brooklyn. Casso might have talked behind his back and said what he allegedly said but would never want Vic to here that. Vic grew into the position and commanded a lot of respect. When he shelved Casso, Casso instantly flipped. He stayed true to his oath, took the heat and lost his freedom for those fellas. He earned the right to keep his respect till his last breath. He was a no nonsense throw back. nuff said.

agree. jackdemp. neo there rules are what kept them afloat 100 yrs. a boss is a boss crap. unless the 4 bosses of the other families tell him to step down and pick a new boss thats the way it is. think a few bosses asked john gotti to step down after his last appeal in 96. but his pick wen to jail and so did chin. come down to respect the rules which is bullshit but it kinda keeps thing stable

You know any more as far as his criminal affiliations? I always felt as an ex Gallo, he musta been a heavy guy, Furnari was at war with them right? So he woulda had a healthy respect for Vic, I think.....

As a "mobster" I guess underrated is a strange way of characterizing someone in a organization ofbm ruthless killers but was he smart? was he sharp? was he a feared man? absolutely. He was chosen to lead he was respected by all fam' s and street guys. The "westies" new and respected him, the older bosses loves him. He was cut from a cloth of people that were raised in Canarsie during the 40's, 50's and 60's that were incredibly tough and quiet. The idea Canarsie was full of blabber mouths like Henry and crazies like Tommy is not accurate. He's got the families respect believe me, yes he was a heavy guy. Not someone you would ever want to cross. The truth is, yes, Casso was a maniac serial killer and feared. But he became particularly crazy after knowing he had Vic behind him. Truth is when Vic found out What Casso making moves without consent and acting like the boss. Vic shelved him immediately and he new he was a dead man walking and flipped and ratted like a true cowardess pussy. btw henry, tommy, Casso all not from canarsie lol. had to say that lol
