Phil was holding out for a better rate and his policy dropped. I think Vito was broke and sold his airbags. Weren't Benny and someone else selling them to angie's body shop? Not that Vito and Benny we're dealing with each other but of Vito was down and out of cash he could have sold his airbags on the black market.

Was that even Vito's Caddy though? Wouldn't make much sense for him to split and be driving his own vehicle with plates registered to him and alla that. They could track him with that OnStar shit too. I figured he was driving a hot car with fake plates and no registration/insurance and he'd been drinking----that's why he didn't want the cops involved when he got into the accident with dipshit parked in the road when he could have pulled into his driveway and got out and walked all of 6 feet to the mailbox. Not that it was his fault or he deserved to get killed, but why block the lane like that?
