Hey thanks for that one... where was this posted at? There seems to have been a lot of things going on lately behind the scenes. Gene, Johnny, carmine shitting the bed and finally letting go of the family.
I heard some rumors but can’t verify or post without blowback.
A secret society is just that. A secret. Even when Joey lunchtrucks rolled I know for fact he lied about motives for killings especially about why he had Cesare Bonventre killed and George from Canada.

Huge fear is gone, but killing a high ranked mafia member or anyone that is high up in organized crime, its like you signed your death. So its probably from Italy/Something with Canada.

Not when you have rats walking around. The fear is mostly gone. At least outside those inner circles.

The timing is interesting based on the following:

1. Persico dying - if the hit had to be sanctioned; whomever is Acting for the Colombo's could have given an approval from their end.
2. The 77M coke shipment discovered - Sicilian backed/Canadian based or even straight from Sicily.
3. Whats Genovese policy on drugs these days? Another reason, another family approval.
4. From within - someone had mentioned the Corrozo's who have been waiting a long time (also close with Gene Gotti) - there is another approval, giving the necessary approvals to put this in motion.

Read Italian newspapers, they will give a lot of info.

I get what your say however when guys like Sammy are walking around AZ like nothing happened its hard to buy into the fear factor. Remember this is the US not Italy.

Here's my two cents for what its worth, so I'll throw my hat in the ring:

1. If the Gambinos wanted him gone it raises the questions of was it sanctioned by the commission? which other families conspired/gave the nod? who did the work?

- To me, if this wasnt sanctioned by the commission, sort of a Castellano situation, then I'd have to believe the idea of the commission is finished. The golden rule is in order to knock off the head you need the OK. So if they don't meet for that then why would they
meet otherwise.

2. Is it repercussions from the drug seizure this week?

- Someone's out some big money. Being that he was into drugs as much as he was, he had to have had a hand in the receiving end. Plus with the family having a Sicilian crew in NJ, it makes sense for them to over see it.
- Not to mention they shot him at his HOUSE. Why was he there? If law enforcement says hes been known to keep such a low profile, then why was he home and exposed like that? Because maybe he knew his time was coming after dropping the ball on such a big
shipment?

3. With everything going on in Canada right now, its a long shot, but I wonder if they're playing a part in any of this?

- I know someone mentioned that the issues in Canada aren't about any of the families " taking over control Montreal, Toronto, etc". But with drugs being a big motive up there between the clans, you wonder if this does have any reach.

Nothing surprises me any more, the only constant fact is money rules and greed has no bounds. I never knew anything about Frank Cali except what I read and heard and it was all good but there are some coincidences that can not be ignored. I am still convinced that Carmine Persico was the one behind the hit on Joe Colombo but framed it in such a way to implicate Joe Gallo. After all who benefited from Colombo being shot ? Colombo was drawing heat to the thing but economically Persico benefitted although living behind bars 3/4 of a life is hardly an enjoyable way to live.
