Credits to another poster from another board. This shit is so confusing https://www.thedailybeast.com/hitma...ense-plate-before-shooting-him-to-death? The driver is wearing a hoodie and a baseball cap, so his face is not clearly visible as he and Cali speak. Cali reaches into his pants pocket, as if to suggest he had a gun. The driver then bends down and picks up the license plate. He holds it out to Cali, who takes it and steps over to the rear of the Escalade. Cali has his back to the driver as he puts the license plate into the trunk of his Escalade. The driver chooses this moment to produce a gun and shoots Cali. Telling me it was a premeditated hit and pulled off right ? No way the hitter gives him a legitimate plate or is this a Philly hit .

The hitter gave Cali Cali's plate that was dislodged off his vehicle when the getaway car hit it. Unless I'm misunderstanding something.

It fell off Cali's stationary car when the hitter's car smashed into it.
The hitter picked it up and gave it to Cali, who was in the process of putting it in his boot, when the hitter took the opportunity to shoot him.
That's what I get out of it. Me too I don’t get what’s so hard to understand lol

So Cali walked out of his house w/ a gun (we think) on him- that doesn’t seem normal if he really just thought someone tapped his truck..... He must have felt something was possible...I say this has to do w/ that shit ton of coke that has Pmac daydreaming...... I would be shocked if this ends up being Gene making a play.....although the guy probably is still stuck in the 80’s- maybe he thought bosses still get hit...lmao

To be that relaxed and to let it unfold ! Got to hand it to the guy if it was premeditated hit ...well have to say he got it done.

The Sicilian Cupola met several times on the turf of the Inzerillos.
On March 6th 2017, March 10th, May 22nd and May 25th 2018. And, perhaps, on May 29th, the Cupola bosses all went to Passo di Rigano for the commission meeting: their mobile phones were turned off in the upper area of Viale Michelangelo. Where did the meeting take place? Certainly, there was an authoritative mafioso from Passo di Rigano that day, Giovanni Sirchia, as the interceptions say.

You guys are so funny an either don't read or do any research.
1st, mansion? That's no mansion. It's a regular old is house. Watch the video.
Second, by all accounts he was well liked and was asked and turned down the top spot in what 2012/2013 by all accounts.
3rd, the last Officlal Boss was Quiet Dom Cefalu and they were tight
4th, Peter Gotti is nothing to nobody and not even boss in name sake - that's a press thing to keep the Gotti name alive.
5th, if this large coke shipment bust was indeed related to him he'd be having the killing done not the other way around. You think he's driving, arranging or protecting that shit. He's 15 people removed from anything.
6th, this is internal to the Gambino's. they knew where he lived, the best time to get him there and probably felt he would be most relaxed existing his house on short notice. Maybe the whole ruse was to get his back turned so he couldn't run, defend himself or otherwise survive as it sounds like once his back was turned he was shot and then shot multiple times while on the ground. 12 casings, not taking any chances of surviving.
Someone felt it was there time and that was that.

The plate? Is it possible the two of them were in the mid of some type of Car Exchange? or maybe Cali was buying the plate? Could that be just how the Hitter was using to get close to 'em?
Either, R.I.P. Cali
My heartfelt condolences to his family!

IDK, say 4 guys made the hit call and they got one shooter and that shooter is already dead, in Canada or in Italy, sounds like a tough nut to crack if the truck, license plate lead nowhere, stolen, etc.
I know nothing, but it has to be some Gambino's guys that wanted the top spot and felt he didn't deserve it. There's no way it came from outside the family, impossible.

And whacking Cali would assure they get top spot ? For top spot they need to whack a whole bunch of guys that are on top,all of them are Sicilian faction and really close to Cali

I thought Peter Gotti was just boss in ceremony only, a lightning rod if you will. I can't say that I remember his name being mentioned all that frequently in recent news dispatches about the Gambino family. Re: Cefalu. I remember the press announcing he was anointed as the boss but was that ever official? I feel they jumped the gun on that one.

That’s a good theory. Didn’t think of that. Good shit

MY 2-CENTS:
Do not see this being random the shooter shot 12 times and ran up close to him
Do not see another family doing this, there would be an all out war, when was the last time a boss was taken out by another family? And the BINO's are right there with the West-Side and because they are run by the ZIPS, more likely to start a war than any other family, the ZIPS play by different rules.
Do not see the old Guard doing this they have been so under the radar and have been un touched by L.E. Gene Gotti, NAH, he would get caught and locked back up in a MINUTE. The FEDS would LOVE to have that FEATHER, my guess he is being watched like a HAWK.
My guess is a ZIP thing from the other side
When they voted the ZIPS, into the top spot they opened themselves up to something like this, INTERVENTION from the other side.
