Please help me so I dont have to smash my computer. Up until a week or so ago I never had a problem with Winmx. All of a sudden I cant get it to connect no matter what I do. It's driving me up the damn wall! I'm about to do something drastic.

I downloaded the Windows service pack. Since then I deleted it and then tried Winmx again, still didnt work. Then I reinstalled it and it still didnt work. Then I restored my computer to an earlier date (about 5 times because somtimes it said that it didnt work) and Winmx still doesnt work. It keeps saying something about a proxy server whatever the hell that meens. It's clobberin' time.

Another example of problems with the latest Service Pack.

I don't know anything about it, but, did you try WinMX Support ?
