The people have been running out of AC since the gambling vote in mid 70’s and they were right to do so.
This left such a small amount of qualified people to run the city and as the 80’s hit there were less and less by the 90’s it was gone and the locals that were voted into office were shit and it’s getting worse.

The state took it over and robbed it more so it’s been a disgusting circle since the 70’s with no mass of people to pull from to put in office .

They have not been able to do anything right in a long time and I have not seen or herd of one white family moving to AC not one ! in 40 fucken years ! What does that say ? The latinos have ran out after a short stint moving into the city ....the blacks with values have ran out of here to put there kids through a different school system because it’s a fucken mess !

I will never be able to explain how great it was for several generations of my family and how deep we were in it but trust me it’s was one of the best places I have ever been and I have been to many . Dam shame

The best Chickies and Petes is the South Philly one on Packer Ave. Last time I was there Johnny Chang was actually next to me at the bar. That was a wild night, my buddy and I ended up picking up two of the cute hostesses there from South Philly and were up until 6:30am with them partying hahaha! You gotta also check out the original Chickies and Petes it’s a little corner tavern , pretty cool. I always get the Lobster Cheesesteak at Chickies and Petes.

Go to Angeloni’s or Scannichio’s at Lefty’s Tavern!! I recommend Scannichio’s at Lefty’s Tavern to Biggie on here and he loved it. I also once took a girl who was born in Italy and lived there until being a teenager there and she said it was best Italian food she ever had here in Jersey. Angeloni’s is great too.
