he didn’t admire Gotti lol. They had similarities for sure and got along ok I guess but he didnt bow down to him. I mean Scarfo was a paranoid psychopath. He also was made since he was about 25 and pretty much ran a lot of Atlantic City. Plus they only met a few times I think soon after Gotti became boss. Scarfo was in jail by 87. Scarfo did have a great relationship with Bobby Manna of the Genovese family though

It was a judge. Judge Helfant. It’s a long story but Nicky the blade Virgilio was on trial and Scarfo paid Helfant money to get a minimum sentence. Helfant basically took the money and stuffed them and Nicky the blade got a long sentence. Scarfo planned revenge but waited until Nicky the blade got out of prison. When he got out Nicky the blade killed Helfant in a cocktail lounge in front of his wife

I was wondering about the rackets in Atlantic City. Was the Genovese' manipulation of Caponigro a ploy to absorb his sports book? Did they have plans to move in to the lucrative AC construction rackets that Bruno (if he were alive) would have prevented them from absorbing?

I still don't understand the reasoning behind going so out of their way (and dropping so many bodies). Just to eliminate Caponigro and Bruno.

The craziest thing for me about that video is how nice and upkept the Scarfo house in AC on Georgia Ave was 35 or so years ago. I walk by the house all the time in AC bouncing around the various Ducktown Bars, Restaurants, Bakeries, etc and its nowhere near as nice and upkept now.

Then again the whole neightborhood is now Spanish, Florida Ave is a complete cesspool with crackhouses. There's probably 7 Italians left living in Ducktown in 2020, only Italians left in Ducktown are the people who own and work in the Italian businesses. Feel free to PM me if anyone is in AC and needs restaurant reccomendations. I am in AC at least 1-3 times a week for the past ten years.

You know Italians have major pride and will fix the neighbors concrete if they think it makes the neighborhood bad ... not saying those other don’t because I didn’t grow up around them.

But yeah as soon as we moved out the neighborhood went to shit.

Ducktown was a lot of Spanish as the late 80’s hit ..but when the people with hoods on there women , started moving in , and Spanish are Christian,,,,they ran out also not many left.

If you want to see the population of Ducktown stand at Texas ave. School and see who picks up the kids ....its mainly black hoods only eyes ...cant tell who or what but guess one of those STANS .

When I tell you he hated his guts I mean he HATED HIS FUCKING GUTS!! The scowl he would have on his face when one of his loudmouth daughters would be on TV glamorizing Gotti is one helluva sight.

The italians back then certainly were’nt wealthy but yet they had pride and kept their neighborhoods very nice.
