Very good interview. The thing about Big Bobby and Staino is that they a had a falling out also. When they all got arrested. Bobby wasnt even in that life anymore. I think he is selling cars now.

Listened to half of it. Insane the amount of resources put into just to get a loan off the guy for 25k. They tried all angles to get a newsworthy takedown of these guys but always failed. Think he said a years worth of time!

Didn't know staino's was so respected, probably back in as capo

I was thinking same thing: it’s not like he is known for offing guys either.My guess is they were worried about his intelligence or his being a white collar racket type of guy.Maybe the juice loan were all the guy could get into or it was easiest way to get in. This is when there wasn’t many guys on the street for them to go for and if they were going for Unc, Staino would seem like the weakest link from the outside. He was very close to Uncle Joe at the time and If someone was an outsider looking in he would seem like the way to pin the Long John, and Johnny Gongs hits on the family. I’d bet my life savings the FEDS are still blowing a lot of our tax money on pinning those murders as well as a few other unsolved hits on Skinny and Uncle Joe until this day.
