(NOTE: I know little Italian so the translation could be wrong ohwell )

I believe it was "casa nostra", At first I thought it was also "cosa nostra" but when I heard him say it, it sounded like "casa" to me.

it depends on how it's said Don Corleone if it's said w/ a soft o it could sound like Casa but if the O is emphasized or accentuated in anyway you can't miss it.

"Cosa Nostra" litterally means (as someone before stated) "This thing of ours." It is more or less slang for the mafia.

There are men in this world who go about demanding to be killed. You must have noticed them. They quarrel in gambling games, they jump out of their automobiles in a rage if someone so much as scratches their fender, they humiliate and bully people whose capabilities they do not know. I have seen a man, a fool, deliberately infuriate a groop of dangerous men, and he himself without any resources. These are people who wander arround the world shouting 'Kill me. Kill me.' And there is always someone always ready to oblige them. We read about it in the newspapers everyday. Such people of course do a great deal of harm to others also.

I looked at the trasncript, and watched the beginning. I still don't know which quote you are talking about.

Don Vito says "Bienvenuto al la Casa Nostra" to Barzini, When Barzini arrives at Connies wedding.

It's not in the trasncript, and when he says it in the movie you have to listen carefully.

How it goes in the movie.

They hug each other
