It's political retribution. Funny thing is this raid was "leaked" to lefty pundits who alluded to it on social media days before it happened. If folks on the left were tweeting about it over the weekend then Rudy's team must have picked up on it and "sanitized" the apartment - assuming they weren't tipped off as well.
