In a bid to learn how imprisoned-for-life Luchese boss Vittorio (Vic) Amuso engineered his bloodless coup from behind bars against acting boss Matthew (Matty) Madonna, federal agents have raided Amuso’s prison cell, seizing scores of papers, cards, letters, and personal belongings, Gang Land has learned.

Mr. Capeci writes, Prison sources say that three agents descended on Amuso’s federal prison cell in Cumberland, Maryland last month armed with a search warrant. it's just my curiosity,I was thinking that the Luccheses was lucky that Amuso don't have sons because there would be a situation like the snake persico and his son.Maybe the bosses doesn't have sons or try to use his relatives for control a mob family.

Amuso and Casso got what they deserved because they were stupid, and destroyed a Mafia dynasty that was around before they were even born. But at least Amuso is trying to turn things around.

Amuso does have a son but he’s not apart of the life though he has a son in law named Joseph DiBenedetto who is a made man but he hasn’t visited Amuso in over 15 years because according to John Pennisi they fell out over something personal and it would lead the FBI to put a “bullseye” on him.
Vic has guys who are loyal to him, Vic is not as bad as people portray him out to be

I don’t think Vic’s son in law is at the top of the Lucchese Family because according to Pennisi he’s a soldier on the street and he didn’t even want anything to do with the message that Michael DeSantis wanted him to send

The reason the FBI raided Vic’s cell was to see how he managed to send a letter to Michael DeSantis which made him into the Acting Boss

The prison isnt a max security and inmates always used encrypted letters and Amuso wouldn't be so dumb to take proofs in his cell.

The FBI wasted time and resources putting on a show. They traveled to a prison to raid a cell, harass an inmate, and find nothing.
