thats what i was getting at seems to be alot of experienced veteran guys who held up did there time but not everyone can be a capo or a member of the admin.
it was my attempt to show who might be in charge but upon doing the research the names of possible capos/leaders just kept coming up.

Ok so removing ligambi from admin would make sense I have found reference to a party for his retirement in 2019.
This would also help free up some room in the top heavy admin/possible capos.

i have heard george borgesi mentioned. michael lancelotti has been named as somekind of street boss in the past. ligambi is either consigliere or completely out of the life. so who else??? dom grande (still imprisoned i think), martin angelina, joseph licata...OR will the top spot return to a veteran old school member as yet unknown.

and what for those in the know in philly or the area does the rank and file think of merlino now retiring to do a podcast? further i wonder what the other active east coast families think of this. it is one thing to coop/flip and now many years later start a blog,podcast, write a book etc. merlino having a podcast still being a member of an active crime family is something not yet seen.

Dave Schratwieser and Scott Burnstein have put out who their sources say are the leaders and both are different but the two things in common have been Joey Merlino is still the Boss and Michael Lancellotti is running the day to day. That's the two things that Scott Burnstein Dave Schratwieser and last verified info has agreed on. Anything else is pointless.

fair enough, i do not follow burnstein or the philly family closely obviously. also i seem to be the only one on here that doesnt find it totally bizarre then that a sitting BOSS of an italian american crime family has a podcast. many comment on here about the declining state of the american mafia and this scenario with merlino could just be symptomatic of this. some have stated merlino is getting a monthly envelope still for being boss, likely true. what does he make hosting a podcast? i know nothing of them, never listened to or tuned in to one in my life so i do not know the details as to why they could be lucrative, i can only assume advertising and a sign up fee. if they are so lucrative and possibly more so than actually being a BOSS that speaks volumes to the situation and state of the philly family.
