Is it known what both men thought of the other prior to Angelo’s bust in August 1983?

Neil’s underlings didn’t like Paul. But what about Paul himself?

Likewise, Paul wasn’t a big fan of the Bergin crew guys (although he praised Gotti’s ability to collect on debts), but what about his feelings on his Underboss?

I ask considering they worked together 9 years

It must have been a good one since they never had a serious problem but I don't think they were best of friends either. They also had to keep a lot of distance between each other, since the 2 of them getting together would have resulted in them likely being picked up for questioning and more importantly, for the publicity it would bring.
