This 8mm home movie footage was filmed in 1971, this is the first time it's been available to the public, the making of the godfather. "It's nothing personal, Sonny....... It's strictly business."

On a personal note, I noticed the great makeup artist Dick Smith touching up faces. He's the tall one with dark hair and glasses. Also, Phil Rhodes, who was Brando's personal makeup man (he has gray hair and is standing close by). I had the pleasure of meeting Dick Smith several times back in the '70s and '80s. He knew who I was, though we never worked together. He was truly a brilliant genius in every sense of the word. Absolutely wonderful home movie footage. I'm glad it's finally seeing the light of day.
