Former Quebec Hells Angels boss Maurice Boucher has died at 69

Former Hells Angel Maurice "Mom" Boucher, regarded as one of the most infamous criminals in Quebec history, has been reported dead, according to La presse and TVA Nouvelles.

Boucher was reportedly suffering from cancer while serving a 22 years-to-life sentence at the Sainte-Anne-des-Pleines Penitentiary north of Montreal. He had been transferred to a correctional health-care centre before his death.

Boucher was one of Quebec's most notorious criminals. Prior to his incarceration, he controlled a multi-million dollar drug trafficking empire.

In 2002, Boucher was jailed following for ordering the assassination of two Quebec prison guards, Pierre Rondeau and Diane Lavigne.

During his time in prison, he also pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to kill rival underworld figure Raynald Desjardins, who himself was jailed after being sentenced for conspiracy in the slaying of Mob boss Salvatore Montagna in 2011.

Did he not have any power in nova Scotia?

I don't get why he didn't team up with Ricky. He's getting his dope operation going again, as long as Julian or Bubbles lends him some money to get the lights and fertilizer and stuff.

Yes "Boo Shay" is the right pronounciation.

Btw, Boucher means "Butcher" in French. A name that suits him very well...

His funeral is gonna be big. I am sure the Hell Angels would use it as a show of force. I'm guessing all the chapters in Canada will send representatives and there will probably be some HA from the US and Europe too.

Coincidentally, the HA recently lost their two most famous guys in Sonny Barger and Mom Boucher.

Yes, and the son’s name is Francis Boucher. Alexandra Mongeau and Francis are half siblings, each having been fathered by Mom Boucher.
