LaSalle is also big with the Irish element in the city. Giuseppe Arcoraci owns or owned a restaurant in LaSalle and was arrested for cocaine trafficking around 2011. I don't know about the Pietro Monte listed. From a Canadian documentary thanks to Etna from BHF

True, all through the early history of organized crime in America, as Southern Italians from the poorer provinces of Campania, Calabria, and Sicily immigrated to the United States and the various criminal elements formed extensions of their criminal societies on American soil, there has always been a certain "competition" among the Camorra, Societa' Onorata, and the Sicilian Mafia, respectively, from those three provinces.
And it's a well known fact that the Sicilians underworld, (real or imagined), thought themselves superior to their fellow criminal brethren from those other provinces.
Its' also true that ultimately (in the states), the Camorra and Societa' Onorata were both absorbed into the Mafia, not the other way around. So maybe there was a certain base truth to the peaking order that developed in the USA.

Ofcourse on a personal level they may get along well and cosa nostra and ndrangheta work together, but the rivalry is always there.
