Mutulu Shakur was released today after serving 40 years. He was involved in a heist that killed cops. He gets compassionate release but Bobby Manna and Richie Desciscio don’t? Only in a world this shitty does this make any sense. I’m not trying to start a racial debate with this post but in my opinion due to the crack laws being so disproportionate and so many men of color given harsh sentences(which is wrong) I feel the FBOP is unfairly choosing who gets released due to their race. It’s as if they have a fucking scorecard and you get any extra point in the press for releasing a person of color. Shakur deserved to come home, but so does Bobby. Rant over.

Agreed 100%. I heard it on the news, he got 3 people killed, 2 were cops. It is race based, and on top of that any hint of Mafia thrown in and there is little chance of getting out, It happens, but way out of proportion to anyone else. Even Trump, like Obama, was only giving releases to Black people.

Mutulu Shakur beonged to an organization, had ties to other organization, and they killed 2 police officers. Plus the guard. Now he's out.

C'mon men,Shakur is not a mobster, the LE consider the mafia a menace like 40 years ago,so no compassionate release for Manna and Desciscio even if they are too old to be dangerous for the society.

He was part of a revolutionary group, with ties to other groups calling for death to police and overturning the country. Way worse than the mafia or any gang. He is more of a threat to LE than any mob member.
