There should be different degree's of rats. A rat of the first degree is the worst_- Alite, Gravano, etc... Then you have 3rd or 4th degree rats who never wore a wire or testified.

The fucking worst rats are the ones that dress like shit.

Why don't you break them down for us...how you would classify them? Let's start with YouTube informants. It'll be interesting to see your list....

Well, its a very complicated issue that requires long discussions.

You have cooperators, informants and moles. Moles wear wires and are first class rats, 2nd class rats are informants who spill their guts on their friends and associates for money or favors. Third class rats are cooperators who sell out to avoid doing time for the crime.

Thats one way of categorizing them. But you could also view it from different standpoints, such as how much damage did they do?

Did they squeal on one guy, two guys, or did they give up dozens of guys, hundreds of guys? Did they devastate an entire crew?

How many guys did they actually put in the can? Was their testimony top notch? Or was it mostly secondhand bullshit that didn't really strike home?

Don't get me wrong, for my money, just as I stated in the other thread I started..."A Rat is a Rat is a Rat!" They're all the same for me.

Some have more access to info. Some have more important info. Some destroy guys. Some just graze guys. But it makes no difference, because, in the end, their mindset is always the same, 99.999% of the time...they're usually bailing out off somebody else's back...at someone else's expense.

And what about the guys who claim they weren't really "informants" because they never put anyone away and only sat down with the government because they had a "plan?" Where do they fit in?

They were straddling the rat fence but never went to the other side. they walked the plank but didn't quite jump.

Or, most probably, they did jump in (with both feet no less,) but now, decades later, would like a naive public and everyone on YT to believe they didn't....and that they're not rats. Which of course, any logical person realizes that they are...THATS the more likely scenario!
