We know that San Diego does have some mob history behind it. Who here can educate the board about the history of San Diego and the Crews that operated there?

I know the Chicago Outfit had a hand out there in controlling things at one time. Is there any action out there currently that you are aware of?

NYMafia? Toodoped? Do you guys know anything?

As always , great stuff Furio. Thank you for your contribution to my question. It is much appreciated!

Looks like all the guys with importance died off in the 90's and after that the family became extinct with maybe a couple guys here and there running small operations in rackets like bookmaking.

Time will tell if my assumptions are correct.

I wanna say it was Christopher Petti aka Chris the Nose who was out there for Chicago at one point...i ived in the Ocean Beach area of San Diego from 2007 to 2010 ...i miss it everyday....the Little Italy section in downtown is pretty nice...was when i was there atleast....found a really good pizza place there and all the pizzas were named after mobsters....pretty cool.
