May 23, 2024 — Reputed “Rap Pack Mob” second-in-charge Ali (Ice Cube) Chaaban had his restaurant and tavern in the North Montreal suburb of Laval shot-up and firebombed last week in separate attacks in the same 24 hours, as heat keeps rising in the ongoing shooting war between the Rizzuto mob and the Montreal Hells Angels.

Chaaban’s Antika Bar & Lounge was riddled with bullets last Wednesday and then the following day, had three Molotov cocktail bombs lobbed in its direction. Two suspects, one only 17 years old, were apprehended near the scene after the second attack. Nobody was present inside the establishment in the first attack and the bar and lounge had just closed for the night when the second attack was launched.

The Dirty News broke the story over the weekend. “Ice Cube” Chaaban, 35, is No. 2 man to Montreal street-gang Godfather and Rap Pack Mob boss Ahna (2Pac) Otna, per sources and SQ intelligence reports. Chaaban survived a pair of assassination attempts in the same week span back in February; one a drive-by attack when he was behind the wheel of his G-Wagon SUV in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Laval and another a shooting at his restaurant nearby days later.

Nicknamed the “Rap Pack Mob” because of their street monikers being nods to famous rap music artists in the U.S, the Otna & Chaaban crew is officially aligned with the top levels of the Hells Angels MC in Quebec and has the ear and trust of Hells Angels Montreal boss Marty (The Capo) Robert and Robert’s inner-circle, according to these sources and law enforcement documents.

Chaaban owns Cube Express, an import-export lot in Montreal for vehicles coming to and from overseas. Investigators suspect he heads a multi-million-dollar car-theft ring that has taken Canada by storm in recent years and in which the so-called Rap Pack Mob are partners with the 50-year enigmatic Robert and the power-hungry Montreal Hells Angels, but Chaaban hasn’t been charged with any crimes personally related to the probe. His brother, Mohammad, that’s a different story all together.

Twenty-five year old alleged Rap Pack Mob lieutenant Mohammad (Mo Money) Chaaban was arrested earlier this spring in an international auto-theft conspiracy. As part of the joint SQ-RCMP investigation, Cube Express was raided by police back in the winter. Informants have told the SQ that Cube Express is a “cool-down site” for high-end stolen cars entering the country and a launch point for shipments of vehicles and parts to black markets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

“2-Pac” Otna, 38, teamed with the Hells Angels in their war against their former allies, the Sicilian Rizzuto mob organization, late last year, and is on the frontlines of the conflict fighting on behalf of Robert and the Hells Angels’ quest to seize control of the province’s gambling, loansharking, prostitution and drug rackets in Quebec and parts of Ontario, per sources on both sides of the law.

The SQ considers the Otna and his Rap Pack Mob as the main suspects in the November 17, 2023 murder of Otna’s predecessor as “Godfather” of the region’s street gangs, Greg (Picasso) Woolley, a business partner with the Italians and the bikers. Robert allegedly anointed Otna as “Picasso” Woolley’s Godfather successor at a ceremony in December, giving him all the business his club had been doing with Woolley, who ran the Rizzuto mob’s street-gang interests for more than two decades prior to his assassination.

Montreal mafia don Leonardo (The Lawyer) Rizzuto dodged an attempt on his life in March 2023 in a daring highway shooting in Laval carried out less than a mile away from the 54-year old Rizzuto’s Rom Cafe headquarters, sparking the current spate of bad blood. Two Hells Angels affiliates, Kevin Rochebrun and Steve Barthelemy pleaded guilty to being the hit team in the Rizzuto murder contract-gone-wrong and will do 10 and 5 years respectively, behind bars.

Woolley’s right-hand man Jean-Phillippe (The Butcher) Celestin initially assumed Woolley’s role within the withering Rizzuto mob empire, but last month, he jumped ship and joined the Marauders Motorcycle Club, a Hells Angels support club and renounced his allegiance to “Leo the Lawyer” following his brother being killed in February and his mother’s home was shot up with him inside three weeks later in March. Celestin’s mom’s residence was shot up again last week.

many blacks with bikers, us in europe find that weird.

In Quebec the Hells Angels do associate with Haitian gang members, but there are no patched members that are black. Not even Woolley was patched and his standing was high at a certain point in time.

In the Netherlands, Satudarah and No Surrender have/had patched members that were black Surinamese or Curaçaoan. Bandidos in Sweden have members with a Somali background.

In Australia, there are lots of bikers with a Pacific Islander (Samoan/Tongan) background. In New Zealand about 80% of the bikers are Pacific Islander.

I'd say the Hells Angels are still the most traditional biker club in terms of who they recruit. In California of course they have their amount of Hispanic members and in Germany they created some kind of "Hells Angels Turkey" offshoot for the Turks who wanted to become HA members under Neco Arabaci, but in general the HA's are overwhelmingly white.
