This used to be the best OC forum anywhere, hands down. Man how things change. I don’t come here often anymore because this place has gone down hill. Been coming here over 10 years, and have watched over the years as this place turned into a pissing match for many users (you know the names) and for a place for NY Mafia and others to advertise their separate businesses and weak content.

Very sad to see how downhill things have gone. Pizzaboy was a class act and kept this place credible and together. Kind of like when the Italian OC left Federal Hill. Won’t go there now anymore either.

Geoff, Turnbull, etc, you guys rock and do a great job trying to keep these fools in order.

See you guys again in 5 years I guess. Very sad.

To be honest, pissing contests were always around on the board. That comes with the territory when you're dealing with a forum about organized crime. It's a subject which will naturally attract passionate people of which many (not all, but many) have seen or even experienced certain things firsthand. So you're bound to have feuds on the regular. And that's ok because sometimes internet feuds can actually get downright hysterical and they can be part of the fun. However I get that due to the declining active user base it may seem like the battling is all that's left - especially to people who don't frequently visit the board.

And yeah, Pizzaboy was one of a kind. A ton of firsthand knowledge on NYC left with him.

PB was a really good guy, I miss his insights.

Kind of off topic but got me reminiscing on the good old days: Do you guys remember when Philly was in the news every day and they had a fiancé or girlfriend of some guy that flushed her fetus down the toilet and it made it to the GBB? Then they found out and got on here and all hell broke loose. That shit was GOLD lol

"What are you cacklin' hens cluckin' about?!?!"

"Is that him?!? With the sombrero on?!?"

PizzaBoy was great. Great conversations about not only the mob but neighborhoods where we lived

Pizzaboy was one of the first people on this forum who I made sure to read all the posts of his I could. He seemed like a great guy. This board is filled with really smart, well researched people. I enjoy my daily reads on here a lot. As TKJ stated, arguing and pissing contests kind of come with the territory of it being an OC message board. Sometimes they're good, mildly constructive arguments. Admittedly, it gets a little awkward when the arguments start to get personal and insulting, but that's the internet! Still a great place with great information.

All true. Pizzaboy and I exchanged many PMs and emails on NYC. Though he was younger than I, his knowledge of NYC in the Fifties and Sixties was truly awesome.

He was a nice guy (I think) and ALLEGEDLY knew some interesting stuff because of his ALLEGED blood connections, but too bad one day we had a conflict because for several years he was constantly posting nothing but stuff only regarding his sick father (God rest his soul) wether it was on the OC or General forums, and so I told him that we all have our own similar problems and that we come to this forum to relax and have fun, and that he should stop. Maybe I was wrong or maybe right, I dunno, and so I apologize to him and I also forgive him. Respect.

He bullshitted people left and right. Told many truths too but he used that as ammunition to fuck with people in a really scummy way
