True. I worked near The Deuce '69 - '71, and even then it was it was a sewer of depravity. Much later, Disney moved in and cleaned it up.

Ir was pretty good until the last season and they starting doing too much gay stuff like that bartender. That actress Maggie Gyllenhall was pretty good though.
