Psychopaths tend to be good leaders. Psychopaths that don't become career criminals have a tendency to become senior executives in major corporations.
Sociopaths can make for cold blooded killers and I think many career criminals deal with varying levels of sociopathy.

While fellas like Ricca, Accardo, Prio, Humphreys, Alex or LaPorte were pure sociopaths with small empathy for others, but on the other hand when they felt threatened, they usually showed no regard for right or wrong, even though they understood it clearly, and also ignored the rights and feelings of others by showing their authority through greed, murder and other deviant actions.
