BTW, speaking of appeals, has anyone heard anything, (positive or negative,) about Stevie "The Wonder Boy" Crea's appeal?
I believe that appeal's been lingering for years already. If I remember correctly, he was supposed to have a hearing back in April or May. He's been in jail for years already. Since he first got pinched, in 2017.
He got convicted/sentenced in 2020. Thats 7 years Crea's behind bars already.
You would think there would have been a final disposition on it by now, one way or the other. With the conviction either confirmed, or reversed.
Judging from what reporter George Anastasia said in this video, it looks like Taccetta has a real good shot of getting cut loose…finally, after 28 years behind bars.
From the looks of things, this seems to be (another) case where the feds played a game of “slight of hand” with key evidence.
If the judge rules in his favor, there’s no way the government retries this case. Half the witnesses are dead, and the man served almost 3 decades in prison already for a crime he may not have committed.
Make no mistake he committed the act and deserves the time he received and more. There's a lot to this that they didn't touch on in their video, whether or not the prosecution played games with the evidence is a different story which may end up giving him his freedom. But he was present at the murder and participated in the beating. Thats a fact.
I don't get into what I know, how I know or why I know something. Just as I don't question what others post since we could all just write anything, and no one no one knows for sure what each person here "knows" or just makes up to sound like they "know". He was there, that's a fact MS.
Everyone here is entitled to his or her own opinions. But, truthfully speaking, at the end of the day, we'll see how it turns out and what happens. One thing's for certain, his ultimate fate is not in any of our hands. Nor should it be.
