It starts changing to the Sicilian type dialect past Taranto, all of Bari province they speak typical Barese dialect, but it’s mostly only the far southern part of the puglian peninsula where they speak the salernitan dialect

That’s why I say Barese Apulian people must have Roots and Blood Lines cause I’m the North and Central areas they Speak Neapolitan and Barese is a Chopped Up Neapolitan Dialect with its own Slang and the other part of Apulia has to Have Roots from Sicily I understand Calabria is in the Middle of those 2 but there no Real Fact of why it’s Sicilian Dialect and not Calabrese that why I say Apulia is a GREY AREA when it comes to other Southern Italians

Frederick II transported anywhere between 20,000 and 50,000 Sicilian Arabs from Sicily to Lucera in Foggia. So its a wonder that Northern Apulia isn't part of the Sicilian Language group

Sicilian muslims in Lecera(Foggia) and other places possibly making dialects similar to Sicilian in those places

There was also a Musim Saracen Emirate of Bari

So is what you are saying that the dialects of Apulia came about from migration or bloodlines from Campania and Sicily?
