Buffalo member Onofrio "Al" Caci had two younger brothers, Vincent and Charles, who were Los Angeles members
Cleveland admin figure Anthony Milano's sons Carmen and Peter John were Los Angeles members. Peter's father-in-law for a time was San Jose member Stefano Zoccoli
Interesting Wasn't the Los Angeles Family some sort of offshoot of the Cleveland Family ? The Milanos, Jimmy Fratianno and i believe Mike Rizzitiello were all operating in Cleveland initially.

They weren't an offshoot, just like the other West Coast families the majority of their members and associates were not originally from California Tony Milano's family moved to Los Angeles in the 1940s because of his wife's failing health while Fratianno went at the recommendation of Thomas Licavoli (or at least claims so) Rizzitello was originally from Montreal and bounced around between the Colombos (Gallo brothers) and the Los Angeles family (Dago Louie Piscopo) before eventually getting busted on robbery/kidnapping charges and doing like a decade in the California state system. After that point he was with the local family for the rest of his life

Anyway having no italian presence, the L.A. family survived accepting to made mobsters that shouldnt be made in other families.

The "second family" narrative was something pushed by Craig Fiato, who is not reliable in this regard. Rizzitello had his issues with the Milano faction but it's clear there was only one family in Los Angeles as evidenced by his associates being made or otherwise proposed for membership into it (Comparetti, Nick P. Nardi, Paduano, Fiato to some degree) As for the rest, it varied per member. Jimmy and Charles Caci as well as Stephen Cino were carried by the FBI as Buffalo members at several points - Jimmy as late as 1983 They were all well respected within the national network whereas on the other hand you had guys like Michael Esposito, who was assaulted on several occasions as a Lucchese associate and then someone like Russell Masetta, who probably would never have been an LCN member if he didn't marry into the Milanos

Some say Genovese heavy "Benny Eggs" Mangano was related to Gambino crime family boss Vincent Mangano and Philip Mangano. The brothers were related to the Outfit's "Dago Lawrence" Mangano.
But this hasn't been confirmed. Back in the old days many people thought that Chicago's "Dago" Mangano allegedly had ties to the Manganos-Gambinos but as you already said, it seems theres still no evidence regarding any blood relation. Also, im not sure if there were two Phillip Manganos, one being the brother of Lawrence and the other one to Vincent Mangano....again, Im not 100% sure and i have to check my stash.

I believe there are many Mangano's in and from Palermo. Vittorio Mangano comes to mind well known member of the Sicilian Mafia. Since 1965 Mangano had already appeared in the judicial chronicles.

James (Blackie) Licavoli, (he was related as cousins, I believe) to the notorious Licavoli family of Detroit, MI. Originally with the Joe Zerilli Family, he later became boss of the Cleveland, Ohio Family. - Vincent (Vinny Ocean) Palermo, a former member of New Jersey DeCavalcante Family. He had a brother, Pasquale Palermo, who became a soldier in New York’s Colombo Family.
