I don't post as often as I use to; but I was wondering; Which mob guys that are alive in prison or on the streets hold the most prestige. (respected; served a enormous amount of time and kept there mouth shut; has been around a long time under original bosses, etc)

I'll start off;

Liborio Bellomo- Has been made since 1977 and has been near or at he top of the Genovese family for atleast 30 years. Low-key and was well mentored by Chin Gigante.

Vincent Aloi - Has been around forever; Was made under Joe Profaci in the 1950's.. He served in various administration roles (acting or official) in the early 1970-s. He is retired but still alive and respected today. "May be the only guy alive today who was made under a original 1931 commission boss.

Would love more opinions and responses!

Bump. No-one have any opinions on guys who have the most prestige right now?

I'll add another name.

Bobby Manna. Served as Consigliere under Chin Gigante. Was made in he 1950'. Has been in prison for over 30 years and is still highly respected.

Nicky Scarfo Jr and Anthony Nicodemo has got to be well respected, their stand-up guy reputations are legendary.

i agree with bellomo for sure, salvatore delaurentis in chicago, regardless of his actual position or not as boss goes back to days of accardo-aiuppa-cerone. frank caruso sr. in chicago as well.

joel cacace of the colombos.
gambino boss domenico cefalu.
vittorio amuso. still boss with continuing influence on family admin, if we are to believe the pennisi testimony.

luigi mannochio of the patriarcas. guy is damn near 100 yrs old.
joseph ligambi in philly.

good question.

Speaking of the 2 guys I mentioned, it's funny how nobody wants to talk about those guys and others when they ramble on about how the mob are all rats. No it's just that the non-rats aren't blabbing away on YouTube, they ride quietly into the night.

I accidentally posted this on the wrong thread thread lol previously.

Def Louie in Prov and I'd even put Matty G as a quiet second behind him.

@VitoCahill

Good choices

I'll add 2.

Anthony "Bruno" Indelicato. Has seen it all; son of a legendary bonanno captain. . Murdered Carmine Galante...survived prison sentences all his life.... He's on the streets now in the administration

Salvatore Avellino. Close with Tony "Ducks" Corallo. Probably has alot of stories with the old man
He was a powerful captain in his own right dealing mostly in white collar crimes. Is filthy rich and one of the last of the old corallo captains.

a few from the great white north.

francesco arcadi and antonio mucci come to mind. mafia works a little different up here but these 2 go back to paolo violi and the rise of the rizzutos. its also a wonder that both are still alive after.

cosimo commisso in toronto.

Anthony did the right thing but honestly that’s a low bar. If you are talking Philly, Joe Ligambi is that guy.

It is a low bar, but in this day and age when it seems like the entire LCN world is on YouTube, it's extremely noteworthy.
