U talkin' da me ?
This was a touching rendition of some of the most iconic moments from one of history's most iconic film series.
Thanks for the contribution !

All great--every one of them.

I give talks on subjects in American history. One of my newer talks covers Ellis Island and immigration. I use a lot of photos of Ellis Island in its heyday, then I show the complete clip of young Vito's passage to America, making the point that FFC evoked the entire process with fanatical attention to detail. The audiences always spontaneously applaud after seeing that scene.

The two scenes where Brando contorts his face in agony--after learning of Sonny's murder and at Bonasera's funeral parlor--by themselves were Oscar-worthy.

Brando really caught the essence of Vito Corleone when he learned of Sonny's death.

He allows himself a few seconds of grief (witnessed only by Hagen),then almost immediately his demeanor changes, and he commands that no inquiries are to be made, and no acts of vengeance taken.
He then requests a meeting with the other Dons, and leaves the room, a father without a son.

Vito went from being a heartbroken Dad back to being Don Corleone.
Such an amazing transformation in only a few seconds, simply by using some carefully applied facial expressions and body language.
.
An incredible performance indeed !!
