This is just so foolish. Talk about pulling names out of a hat. Carmen is supposed to have severe health issues. Matty G also. Manocchio is practically 100 years old. Carozzo is ancient. DiGiacomo has been inactive for years. Just ridiculous. He has no idea.

Old age or health problems doesn't prevent powerful mobsters from operating. A better question is what are they in charge of? Old men need younger, healthy guys to get things done to some extent.

Couple names on there may be the power but there are def some that are not longer active on that list due to age or health

I wasn't familiar with Dean DePreta.

It's interesting to see that both Genovese and Gambino families rely mostly on associates to run their rackets in Connecticut. They don't induct them (Eugene Onofrio being the only exception i know) and prefer to have them report to a capo from the city.

Idk if this is a reflection of how bad of shape NE is in or just how uninformed Scott could be. I mean to even mention Shawn Vetere is this? I just don’t see it.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. He throwing out the names that he knows. But when a guy is 96.....maybe it should have been the respect rankings, but not power rankings, no way.
