I just finished to watch the serie and is very beautiful so I decided to write a song on it.

I loved it. Only wish it was longer than 8 episodes but heard they might make a season 2. Between this and THE BATMAN, they've been killing it! Can't wait for the sequel to Batman too.

Maybe in a second season eill introduce new villains like Catwoman (Sophia stepsister) or the Joker and of course Batman and Robin (the journalist killed can easly be his mother).
Oz will be busy to fight against them,maybe will made more than 8 episodes,who know.

I’m generally not into the DC stuff but I truly enjoyed this series, I would definitely watch if there’s another season. The mafia type angle only made it better too. Would definitely recommend this series to anyone that even remotely likes the DC series of movies/shows

I was entertained by it. I started watching it because a buddy of mine was saying that it compares to Sopranos. I strongly disagree with that. The acting on The Penguin, to me, is God awful, and I don't usually care much for DC/Marvel type stuff. That being said, I watched the whole thing and it was entertaining. Would tune in for a second season, but don't understand the hype where people are comparing it to the Sopranos. Not on that level in my opinion.

Yea that's too damn funny trying to compare it to one of the best shows ever. It was a great series but it's not an all time best by any means

The soundtrack reminds me of the 1980s

It's a great show. I 'm also not into the super DC/Marvel stuff but i really enjoyd the show.

Colin Farell's acting is amazing. His portraying of a mob guy is on point. There's definitely an inspiration from Gandolfini portraying Tony Soprano.

Let's appreciate how good an Irish actor was able to play a NY mob guy. These Irish and British actors are on another level.

It is a good show. I was surprised to see Mark Strong play a younger Carmine Falcone, but I feel he did the portrayal justice. It might just be one season cause now two of the major crime groups are gone, which sets up Batman 2 nicely with the elite element in Gotham. They did push back part 2, so most likely a second season will come.

Maybe I'm the only one here but I like DC/Marvel! Comic books were great back in the days Spiderman, The Hulk and X-Men were my favorites I still have a few boxes with comics. Also european comics like Tintin, Lucky Luke, Asterix and many others

I have read them and still do occasionally hollander. Rumor is they are talking about bringing in the Rafael Santini character which is a closer character to LCN then the other families. If true and they do it right season 2 would be good. Keep in mind they did have catwoman send a message to Sofia, so we could have her in season for some storyline. Penguin did start out as someone who dabbled in stolen jewelry before becoming big. Someone mentioned to watch Gathom TV show which I will when I get the time.

Not comparable to the Tony Soprano, Penguin and his mom is somewhat comparable, both fat yes, both betrayed their own guys and family yes, but there is a large split between them in comparing those two characters. When it comes scheming Penguin can not be trusted at all in the show which is different from the older comics of that character who was loyal and took care of his own guys who was close to them. He did do the Joker did to the guys that did the job, but Cobblepot never viewed them as part of his organization and only used the low level criminals on one job before killing them.

I do wonder if they are going to use Penguin being an informant since he will appear before the court or a grand jury on Sophia. In the comics he tipped off the cops about criminal where abouts for reward money but there was an angle to it.
