For sheer tackiness, this program, which aired on the Phoenix NBC outlet tonight, cannot be beat. America's "toughest sheriff" meets the Mafia's biggest loser:

I watched a youtube video, it was sickening. I used to admire Arpaio, he came off like a phony. He always had one problem: Trying too hard to promote himself. I think that was why he did this. The interviewer is annoying too.
I did not look at the instagram link you posted yet, but from what I saw you nailed it by calling it "sheer tackiness." Great way to put it.

Thanks.
The NBC local affiliate in Phoenix that aired this piece of crap is usually a pretty straightforward outlet. I can't imagine what they were thinking when they brought these two together.

BTW: The Republican club in my town threw a tribute luncheon for Arpaio a few years ago. Held it in a Mexican restaurant. lol

That's funny Turnbull. Gravano has a tv series coming out on him, with a big writers and actors involved. They are going to publicize him big time as a hero, and this is just the start. I think FX is producing it.
