Do we have any Mobsters still alive from the Apalachin meeting?

If I’m right the last person to attend and still alive was a Lucchese member who drove to the meeting and he died a couple years earlier, I can’t remember his name.

Aniello Migliore. He died in 2019 and was 24 years old and was the boss driver in Apalachin.
If he would wrote a book on the meeting,would have made milions but was an old school mobster.

@Hollander

That is correct, Some even in their 60's.

@Captbony1999

I doubt there's anyone left alive who attended Apalachin.

Aniello Migliore may be the last.

But.... but this is a major but, highly unlikely

There may be a few drivers/body guards who were in their 20's or 30's (Apalachin was in 1957) who may have been there and remember.it.

These guys would have to be 90's and 100's if they are still alive.

Anyone disagree?

It makes you wonder what Larry Dentico and Sonny Franzese had in relation to Apalachin

Joseph Barbara, who hosted the event, was 52. He passed away two years later.

Nor sure about those 2.

I know Larry Dentico back during the Apalachin conference may have already been Made. He was Made in the late 1950's... before the books closed. He was apart of the Greenwhich village crew back then. He was friends with heavyweights in that crew like Vincent Gigante; Mario Gigante; Dom Cirillo; and Bobby Manna. Dentico was a powerhouse back in the 1960's.. He also controlled some operations in New Jersey with Bobby Manna during the 60's and 70's I believe. Legend say he took orders from Vito Genovese directly when he was apart of the "JETS"... Dentico is the last I would say from the mobsters born in the 1920's. Early 1920's to be exact. He's seen everything.

@Hollander

Didn't he lose alot of power after Apalachin.

Yep I believe it caused even his death with two heart attacks at the age of 54.

I can imagine Hoover's FBI had to acknowledge there was a Mafia, but don't forget all the 100 mafiosi attending would meet every 5 years that was the rule.
