Havana, you gotta remember, that in large cities like New York City there was a lot of competition. We're talking about thousands and thousands of hoodlums. Thats a lot of guys to try and kill. lol.

No doubt, I suspect they're were a variety of reasons. Not the least of which was that -- overall -- the Sicilian organization was much better organized. They had a more rigid, hierarchal and military-like structure that was incomparable, compared to the Camorra. The Mafia's internal gears worked seamlessly, making for a smoother running network. I also believe they were much larger and stronger.
