Do you believe Angelo Yale was born in 1898 or 1903, since his marriage certificate and age at his father's death indicate its more likely that he was born in 1898
If he was born in 1903 then its likely that he might have been a Camorrista by age at least age 16 if not sooner
He was Frankie's kid brother. I believe 1903 is correct for him. And back then, there was such a thing as young camorrista and mafiosi too for that matter.

These guys like the Navy Yard and Coney Island Camorra seemed to rack up such a large number and diversity of crimes, especially crimes of violence that it almost seems like they made the Mafia look like boy scouts
Not sure how it ended up that these Camorra got absorbed into the Mafia rather than the opposite happening where Mafia guys absorbed into the Camorra Yep. They were all deadly guys....especially Angelo. If you read his bio then you know that he was out clipping guys left and right. For decades! Lol. And this crew dabbled in everything. Once again, especially Angelo. He was an insatiable, unrepentant gangster if ever there was one! Lol. Gotta love it! Lol.

Unless they just couldn't find them or identify them, why wouldn't they just wipe out their Italian competition like the Mafia, since they were fine withslashing, stabbing, bombing, shooting and killing as if it was as easy or normal as breathing And it wasn't just the Navy Yard and Coney Island Crews,it seemed like whatever city these Camorra crews were in,they were doing the same things Havana, you gotta remember, that in large cities like New York City there was a lot of competition. We're talking about thousands and thousands of hoodlums. Thats a lot of guys to try and kill. lol.

What I'm getting at is why join and follow mafia rules instead of mafia joining and following their rules ?

What I'm getting at is why join and follow mafia rules instead of mafia joining and following their rules ? No doubt, I suspect they're were a variety of reasons. Not the least of which was that -- overall -- the Sicilian organization was much better organized. They had a more rigid, hierarchal and military-like structure that was incomparable, compared to the Camorra. The Mafia's internal gears worked seamlessly, making for a smoother running network. I also believe they were much larger and stronger.
