My list

1. Jack Nicholson
2. Robert De Niro
3. Al Pacino

To me, there is NO ONE better than Nicholson. He is too natural

But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way
Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away

All great actors. Samuel L. never fails. I really liked him in Jackie Brown, probably my favorite QT movie after Reservoir

A movie I've watched more times than I can count. It's so well made. This is apparently Seth Rogen's all time favorite movie. Not a bad pick

Great scene with De Niro. We are talking about favorite though. De Niro is among the best.

Yep I got him as my number two. He's trailing Nicholson by a millimeter lol

I always felt De Niro's performance in Jackie Brown was one of his most underrated performances

But as far as best and favorite actors go, it's a bit intertwined for me. To me, Nicholson is the best! Yes, he's not going to get the same roles as Anthony Hopkins or Daniel Day-Lewis, but they weren't exactly going to get his either. The performance would be completely different anyway.

THIS is epic! And this is why he is the best

It's difficult to pick three though for example I like several British actors like Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Tim Roth.

I suppose your favorite ones are the ones you hold dearest. They represent greatness in your eyes. You bring up Michael Caine. That's a man that represents greatness to me. A true master of his craft. Probably my all-time favorite British actor. However, Hopkins is up there too. It's kind of hard to pick between some of those guys actually

Oldman and Roth are good too, but I'm not as crazy about them

You will enjoy this. Caine, much like Nicholson, possesses an extraordinary ability to inhabit his roles with a casual ease that feels almost too natural to be real.

By the way, I still can't believe you didn't put Rutger Hauer in your top 3. If I was Dutch, he'd come before anybody lol

Good point amigo.

Also an impressive career that spanned over 170 roles across nearly 50 years, beginning in 1969. In 1999, he was named by the Dutch public as the Best Dutch Actor of the Century.
