PSA: This is NOT a political thread but rather a thread to discuss the lives and deaths of JFK, RFK, and MLK.
Trump just signed an executive order to release all of the files on the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations. Not sure how long it'll take for the documents to be released to the public but I'll be EXTREMELY interested to see what's in them!
This will be a field day for scholars. But don't expect them to find any "smoking guns" that will definitively prove or disprove conspiracy theories. If any such info was ever in those archives, it would have been destroyed decades ago.

Big reveals are unlikely—over 97% of JFK assassination records have already been released. The RFK and MLK files will probably be redacted up the wazoo anyway, and ones that have been released already are.

I agree but even if we do know the truth nothing will change. RFK's killer Sirhan Bishara Sirhan is still alive though he could shed some light.
