Everyone wants on YouTube now. But that's for mobsters with long bloody histories in La Cosa Nostra, with something to actually talk about. So far, only Sammy the Bull fits that bill. These rats are all looking for the podcast mob retirement plan lol.

The 5 Families used to run joint gambling operations worth millions, hundreds of millions even, now it seems like they're fighting over scraps.

Holy shit, I actually read it word for word, the mob is even worse off than I thought.

Hilarious. I can't believe this guy would throw his career away for $1500 a month. I wonder if there's more to the story, like perhaps they caught him in a compromising position? Blackmail? They must not pay jack shit in law enforcement up there. This is totally embarrassing for the mob, and the fact that it involves the Genovese Family is very telling.

So it turns out that even Sal the Shoemaker flipped. Is everyone just a rat nowadays? Flipping over gambling charges?

Sal defines what stranger danger looks like. You teach your kids to not talk to strangers for a reason.

The shoemaker was a civilian who let them use his place for a poker game a few times each week, he was not a member or even a real associate. Just a man who worked a hard job and was looking to make a few dollars by letting them have a poker game in his place, So him testifying is no surprise, I do not consider him a rat Gravano, Pennisi, and other made guys are rats. A jerk like Fat Andy's son is a rat, as is the new snitch making videos (Fiordello) or a similar name is a rat. Even calling him Sal the Shoemaker as if he was a gangster is off.

I don't think the shenanigans of two associates, a notoriously dysfunctional capo and a Puerto Rican cop-on-the-take is entirely representative of the activities of a few hundred made guys. Remember, that Lucchese indictment a few weeks ago uncovered a criminal operation that only involved one made guy and four associates which brought in $25 million.

However, I'm happy some of you guys found another reason to whine and blubber about "how the mob has become a joke babble babble babble". I mean, that's basically the only thing that still happens on this board, isn't it?

I think you might want to check that Luchese gambling bust again, it was $25 million over 25 years, meaning $1 million per year, then ask yourself how many ways was that split. In NY sports gambling $1 million per year is garbage money, NY state takes in $2 billion per month.

Sickens me that the government can do all the things that they prosecute mobsters for, and they're not even nearly as cool.

Police also found nearly half a million in cash in one of his homes, so there's no way of really knowing that he only made $1 million a year. To compare what some street guys make to a state government sounds a little absurd, but what do I know.

Guilty of false statements, acquitted on obstruction charges.
