What are your opinions? Also does Caruso kick up money to Sarno currently?

Someone over at the Black Hand is claiming that Caruso answers to Sarno. They also stated that its a fact that both of them would have Chinese food in Chinatown and hold court there on a regular basis, with multiple pieces of FBI surveillance footage to prove it.

Thats the first time I've heard this. Also let me add, has Vena ever been business partners with Mike in regards to legit interests and investments? Thats the first time I've heard that one also.

i have never been of the belief that sarno ever attained the rank of boss, acting boss in the outfit at any time. it does appear though sarno was looked upon after family secrets 2005 to insure money continued to move upwards. with that in mind i had recently posted some boss and underboss lists where i think if anything sarno may have been acting underboss for a period of time (2005-2007) or possibly i suppose (2005-2009/2010). it is in this time period i believe where reports of caruso kicking up to sarno were first brought up. but this scenario doesnt automatically conclude that caruso is below sarno, it could have been the setup in place for any money made by the 26th street crew to send to sarno in order for it to move upward to senior bosses. caruso and crew were in the video gaming business with sarno, so possible money given was related to only that racket, in which case who else would be getting money than the guy charged with expanding VGM racket in 2000s, mike sarno and cicero crew.

to answer question, no i do not believe currently in 2025 frank caruso is kicking money up to sarno, as sarno for certain is BOSS of nothing right now. sarno may continue to exert control from prison to members of his street crew but that is all.

there is also the discussion relating to the rumor sarno was partnered or kicking up to difronzo or andriacchi. so how does one square the belief that sarno was BOSS or acting boss but then also kicking up to other senior outfit members?? if acting boss i suppose sarno would be kicking money up to someone else, marcello, difronzo, andriacchi etc. if he was BOSS then this scenario makes absolutely no sense.
also how does this sarno as boss/acting boss work if, as some believe anthony zizzo was outfit underboss? why wouldnt marcello when imprisoned without bond in april 2005 promote zizzo to acting boss?? would this not insure that moneys owed would continue to be collected by the very man marcello trusted as underboss, a member of melrose park crew that had done time and kept mouth shut, as opposed to sarno at the time only 2 years into promotion as cicero crew capo.

i believe as i have posted, joe andriacchi was underboss when FS came down in april 2005. andriacchi was moved up to acting boss as a way to insure that any other possible indictments coming down likely would not lead back to andriacchi and other admin members. perhaps then this is why zizzo was not promoted to ab, as melrose park crew had been taken off map with FS 2005 indictment, which also included investigation into marcello et al video poker machines.

thanks rush, back at ya, all clothing threads aside, ha ha ha. i think this question is actually really important because unless the sarno question as to being BOSS/ab is answered and resolved one cannot move forward in attempting to figure out next bosses and leaders. unless of course as i have done dont believe that theory. however i dont care one way or other, there is no grand prize that i know of for best outfit admin solution. i nor anyone else will get a lifetimes worth of deep dish 'za or endless beef dips if we get it right.

but another question for those who indeed do believe sarno was boss or acting boss. first pick one, is he official or acting? that would be a start and no one no matter how powerful or respected has ever been both boss and acting boss because its totally irrelevant and redundant. so for those looking to answer rush's queery make a decision on that. second if sarno is acting boss then who was serving as underboss of the entire outfit under james marcello? then tell me where do john difronzo, joe andriacchi, marco d'amico, peter difronzo, joe lombardo and al tornabene stand in all this? if anyone recalls my post about the possibility of the outfit having a ruling council/panel/consiglio they will know where i put some of these names. d'amico wasnt released until june 2005 after sarnos promotion would have taken place. if the council didnt exist then where do we place some of these names? is peter difronzo still elmwood park crew capo circa april 2005? or is it andriacchi if he isnt underboss? or is it john difronzo?

see when one accepts the sarno model it really opens up so many other questions as to other senior outfit leaders possible positions. the consensus on john difronzo is he was never officially BOSS of the outfit. totally acceptable opinion and one i share. then why would sarno be kicking up to him or partnered up?

WHEN HAS AN ACTING BOSS OF A MAFIA FAMILY BEEN KNOWN TO KICK UP TO A SOLDIER IN SAME FAMILY??? this needs an answer. really 2 soldiers i suppose if andriacchi not considered underboss.
