Your house is about to collapse, and you only have time to save 10 items, whatever they are. What will it be...your special coffee machine that aunt Barbara bought you?...or maybe your precious Godfather DVD?...hard choices indeed Please no smart comments like "I put all my CD'S in one bag and that bag is 1 item...please...every CD is 1 item...thats how it works. --You can also list the laundry machine if for some strange reason you like it so much (even if you cant pick it up ) Ok,your top 10 items from your house, what will you save?

I've actually thought about this before. :p Not necessarily in terms of my house collasping, but what I would rush to take with me. 1. Important papers (medical, house, etc) 2. My purse 3. My keys 4. Family photo albums 6. My computer 5. My coat/jacket (don't wanna be cold ) 6. TV 7. Stereo 8. Godfather DVD 9. Favorite music (tapes/records) 10.I'd grab a snack...you know, for the road. TIS

I've been thinking about this a lot since the recent mudslides and stuff. Sometimes I think about my closet's fate. I need to get my stuff insured... I have probably hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of clothes, shoes, and bags. I have more than 200 pairs of shoes, and only like 5 or 6 pairs that cost less than $250. So clothing aside: -Purse (wallet, keys, cell, sunglasses, lipstick) -papers -a coat (good one, TIS!!) -stuff my grandparents have given me -my watches -a bottle of perfume (scent to be determined by my mood at the moment) -migraine medicine ( can't forget that!) -an awesome Lalique vase I have from 1923 (I got it at an estate sale in Beverly Hills) -my jewelry box (It would take longer to take everything out and pick something than it would to just grab the box) -Last but not least, I'd pick one extra pair of shoes to save... a more obscure brand from Spain, or something like that. Besides that, DVDs, CDs, books, computer, stereo, TV, etc etc etc are so easily replaceable... I mean sure, it might take a while to accumulate the same collections, and it'd be a little expensive, but not a big deal. Although come to think of it, I've got all my CDs uploaded on my computer-- if I took my computer, it'd save quite a bit.

Right, my house is about to collapse, I'm sat here, in the living room, I see the ceiling crumbling. If I don't get out in 5 minutes I am going to die.
Quickly Adam, what are you going to get?
*BRUCE - my dog, I will risk my life for that fucker.
*My Phone - it's got all my numbers. How am I going to ring people to say I need a place to stay without it?
*My Wine - next to me I have my wine carrier (the type you get from the supermarket). It has 4 bottles and, quite frankly, my house is going down. I think I deserve a drink.
So die all who betray Giuliano

Zia had a good point that all my movies and music can be easily replaced. Come to think of it, all of my things could be replaced just as easily, with the right amount of money. I dont have one sentimental thing in my house. Nevermind, scratch that. My Godfather 4 script couldnt be replaced, so I'd make sure I had that with me. *** By an act of God, none of my possessions were scratched when the building collapsed. :p

It's unfair! . Some of you mentioned their dogs. Pets and humans were not allowed, Debra said. So I'll grab my THREE CATS (and my purse). :p
