Back to the Future is great! The sequels are not as good granted, but the trilogy is much more than a car ad.

My Physics teacher spent an entire period lecturing about the possibility of time travel. He referenced "Back to the Future" a couple of times.

He came to the conclusion that going back in time is impossible because there is no such thing as "negative time".

I remember hearing from someone really smart one time that the Flux Capacitor is purely hypothetical and could never exist. That and the entire time travel theory presented in Back to the Future is incredibly impossible. Oh well, I love the movies anyway

I saw in a newspaper that some physiits discoverd a way to go back in time and go to the future but then i never heard anything else about them again
